As the garment series was developed, it became apparent that the provisions for future remodelling incorporated into the garment designs for The Living Wardrobe might overlooked if the wearer cannot recognise them as such. For example, that a wide seam allowance affords alteration. Therefore a method of labelling the garments was developed that uses embroidered QR codes stitched permanently into the garment, to connect the wearer with a (this) website of information. Because the labels are stitched into the garments, a second or third wearer can access the information in the future.
